Los Mac's was one of the first Chilean rock bands, forming in Valparaíso in 1962 and notably known for writing the first Chilean psychedelic song of the sixties: "La Muerte de mi Hermano". The group was formed in 1962 in the district of Playa Ancha as a rock and roll songs cover band, gaining some exposure in the national radio stations.
